Cloverhayes Farm is situated between Chard and Axminster in a village called Smallridge. The area is idyllic with stunning views, hilly countryside and quiet country lanes - all ideal for strengthening and conditioning horses to fitness and giving youngsters confidence in a safe environment. We are in real hunting country, with local hunts such as The Cotley Harriers, The Axe Vale, Cattistock and many more.


The yard has been purpose built and designed by Jolyon Wilde who has a lifetime of leisure interests in equestrianism and sailing. Two of his ambitions in life were to build a yacht to sail around the world and to build a top standard equestrian centre – both of these have been achieved with the utmost attention to detail and quality.

 

 
We plan to make full use of the fabulous facilities here and turn out our horses to the highest standard. Our set up allows us to pay individual attention and quality time to each horse which makes us very proud of what we have to offer our clients at Cloverhayes. 
All owners looking to place their horse for pre-training, point to point, rest & recuperation, rehabilitation etc are strongly encouraged to visit Cloverhayes to see for themselves the excellent standard of facilities and services available.
